FSSAI Annual Return Filing is a mandatory yearly submission of food business details including quantity and value of food products manufactured or sold required for FSSAI State and Central License holders. It's separate from license renewal, and missing the deadline attracts penalties.

- ✓Not required for Basic Registration holders (in most cases)
Filing details
- ✓Form D1 for most food businesses; Form D2 for milk/milk product units
- ✓Must be filed by May 31st each year for the previous financial year
