Startup India Registration
Startup India Registration is DPIIT (Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade) recognition for eligible startups, granted under the Startup India initiative launched by the Government of India. Once recognized, a company is officially classified as a "startup" and gains access to a range of government benefits designed to support early-stage growth.

Eligibility
- ✓Entity must be a Private Limited Company, LLP, or Registered Partnership
- ✓Incorporated less than 10 years ago
- ✓Annual turnover not exceeding ₹100 crore in any financial year
- ✓Working towards innovation, development, or improvement of products/services with high potential for employment/wealth creation
Other points to know
- ✓Recognition doesn't automatically grant tax exemption a separate application is needed for the 80-IAC benefit
- ✓Valid for 10 years from incorporation or until turnover crosses ₹100 crore, whichever is earlier
